Knitted Latvian wrist warmers

My granny has given me a book about Latvian wrist warmers. This is what I have been busy recently.
Some of my works are exhibited in a small handicraft exhibition in our village's library (such kind of exhibition is held every year)

Take along doll hause

I took part in invitation to sew a doll house together with other girls from other blogs. The invator Daiga encouraged me (an other girls) to start doing it.

Here is the result. Not finished yet, but ready to use anyway.

I am happy that my younger daughter now has such a wonderful doll house. And at the end of sewing I concluded - it was not so difficult to make it.

Key guards:)

Just trifle with owls and made some key chain as I didn't have anything for car keys for some time.

But there are soooo many interesting and useful to look at things under "fabric key chain" , just search in google. I think it is a nice small gift and can be used not only as key chains...

Developing Pyramid

It's a stacking toy. I have already had this idea for some time, at first I wanted to knit, but when I got a sewing machine, of course I thought of sewing. But while I was thinking, one Latvian girl made it:) It can be foun here on her blog "mammas rokas" (mother's hands). But actually I was happy, because I think my creativiness would end with making those rings with different things to touch and look at. So I get the idea of making some kind of ...animal or what ever.

But here is mine, not perfect, but just the first trial

Developing cube

This is my developing cube!!! Althjough it turned out so big, I like it and so do my daughter. It can be also used as a ball, it rolls very well. My daughter (8 months) likes the fishes, at the moment that s what she can do to take them and stick back.
